As a small child, Subrina J. Westberry, owner and CEO of Victoria Marie Wedding Planners and Designers, had a fantasy of becoming a fairytale princess or an elegant ballet dancer, as most little girls do. She captured her fantasy by cutting out paper dolls from the bridal section of the JC Penney and Sears catalogs and brought them to life through what she thought was her “magical” imagination. As Subrina approached her teenage years her dreams diminished, as expected, but she still had a desire for an atmosphere of beauty and grace. This is when she decided to help family, friends and co-workers plan and coordinate weddings and events to assist in creating an atmosphere she so desired. As Subrina’s two sons grew into their teenage years, she decided to step out on faith and recreate the magical imagination from her childhood memories, only this time bringing them to life with the creation of Victoria Marie Wedding Planners and Designers. The name derived from her paternal grandmother, Victoria, and her maternal grandmother, Marie. Subrina is a certified wedding and event planner, holds an Associates Degree in Business and is the founder and CEO for the SC Association of Professional Women in the Wedding Industry. Her passion for professionalism, excellence and devotion to detail is incorporated in our goal to provide the highest quality customer service, in the most elegant atmosphere, while striving to be budget conscious.
